The vineyard is partnered with Aamodt's Apple Farm, a longstanding family-owned orchard with a goat farm & wagon rides, plus pick-your-own apples.
Cozy subterranean cocktail bar for elevated drinks & snacks in art deco–inspired surrounds. The Velveteen is in the basement of the building with no obvious signage outside. You need to “follow the rabbit” to find it (but to help you out, go into the JX Event Venue entrance and directly to the left there is a staircase) There is a moment as you’re descending the stairs when you see the draped curtains and hear the music that you actually feel yourself being transported back in time. The covered windows, eclectic furniture, the gold retro decor and intimate little table nooks all really drive it home. The employees are also dressed to the nines which makes it feel special.
