Fashion Island is next door to VEA Hotel. It is an outdoor regional shopping mall. Great place to walk around, shop, grab a bite to eat & relax.

Joey is a great spot for a nice lunch/dinner & drinks! Only a 2 min drive or 10 min walk from VEA Hotel.
Lido Marina Village
Lido Marina was a regular spot for Karina & Tommy. Only a 10 min drive from VEA Hotel. At Lido Marina Village you can enjoy dining waterside, explore a mix of charming boutiques and stylish shops, and/or experience a delightfully scaled village ambience. This is Newport Beach at its best. Our favorite places to eat here are Malibu Farm, Zinque and Nobu. You truly can't go wrong here.
Shorebird Restaurant
Shorebird is our favorite Brunch spot with beautiful views of Newport Harbor. Reservations recommended. 10 min drive from VEA Hotel.
Balboa Island Ferry & Fun Zone
Explore Balboa Island, check out the neighborhood, do a little shopping, try some local treats and then take the ferry for a couple bucks across the harbor to visit Balboa Fun Zone. Take a ride on the Ferris wheel, play some arcade games and get some fair food & treats. We are getting married right next door to the Fun Zone. If you don't have time to do this before the wedding, you will after the ceremony and before cocktail hour.
Topside Roof Deck
Across the street from Lido Marina Village and a 10 min drive from VEA Hotel. Karina & Tommy always enjoyed drinks and small bites at Topside. The best rooftop bar in Newport Beach, CA.
Rent a Duffy Boat
Duffy Boats are quintessential Newport Beach! Enjoy the Newport Harbor by renting a Duffy (Electric) boat for a couple hours.
