Please check back, we will post it here before the event.
The parking at camp is at the main road. The dining hall is just a 5 minute walk from the main parking. There will be signs for where to go. Direct access for Guests with Disabilities or any guest with Mobility concerns will be available.
The grooms will be decked in wedding tuxedos. With that said, it’s September in Florida and while the event hall is air conditioned it’s still summertime and expected temperatures are mid 80’s-90’s. We want everyone to be comfortable. Clothing is required, beyond that, dress in whatever makes you happy.
The Grooms are creating their own wedding traditions. It is going to be a very informal ceremony and celebration, we want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy the event.
Both grooms are very active at Camp LaNoChe. Scouting was a big part of both of their formative years. When selecting a venue camp felt like the right choice because it’s really their second home and is filled with so many close friends and brothers.
Yes, while the location is on camp the grooms are renting the location as an event hall for the evening so beer, wine and select cocktails will be offered. The grooms request responsible consumption but accommodation can always be made if a Guest is not feeling comfortable driving home.
There will be a selection of fruit, cheese and crackers at the sunset cocktail event. After the ceremony a large selection of charcuterie options, light appetizers and a dessert table will be available for grazing until the last dance.
Gifts are appreciated but not expected. Both Tom and Richie have been fortunate to build a home together during their extended (some would say too long) engagement. They want as many people to be a part of the special day as possible both in person or on zoom. You attendance and participation is enough for us. If you would like to provide a gift anyway, we are registered at Target for Disney and Visa gift cards as well as on the registry online here for gifts toward Honeymoon adventures and home renovation shenanigans.
