First off, we would like to thank all of you for your love, support, and wisdom. It has meant the world to us to be able to share this journey so far with you. Sadly, we have decided not to host a wedding party/reception this August. No one would have guessed that when we started planning our wedding in 2019 that this is where we would end up. Last year was challenging for everyone and it was incredibly difficult to make the decision that we couldn't have the wedding that we had planned and hoped for. We stayed positive for 2021 and decided that even though we couldn't have the big party we could still get married and keep it incredibly small. Like, 8 people small. Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine having to buy hand sanitizer, thermometers, and that we would be giving out custom masks, but we did and we are so thankful that our family rallied around us on that special day. Jumping to 2021 we kept planning, but vaccine roll-out wasn't going well and things weren't getting better, in fact, they were getting worse and we felt like we were right back to where we were the previous year. As we sat in our apartment in LA with everything surging we had to make the call of committing to vendors and rolling the dice that it would happen or the unthinkable, having to postpone again. We talked about it a lot and in the end we decided that we can always have a party to celebrate our lives together (3 year anniversary party?) but we may not always be in this position to buy a house in LA. A house that we can turn into a home and enjoy for many years to come. And with that, our LA home journey began.
