Is this a wedding?

No, we had a small wedding in October and these will be open house style receptions to celebrate with all of the people we care about who we were not able to invite to the day of.

What should I expect for the receptions?
Answer
Both receptions will be open house style and very casual. We will have food, cake, and a slideshow. We hope that this means we can spend more time talking with everyone who attends.

What time should I arrive for the reception?

Both receptions begin at 1pm on their respective days.

Where should I park?
Answer
Gig Harbor: There is lots of public parking surrounding the pavilion in Sehmel Park. San Ramon: There is plenty of street parking available around the clubhouse.

What is the dress code?

Both receptions are very casual so there is no dress code. Please wear what will be most comfortable for you or what you would wear to an open house.

What type of food will be served at the receptions?
Answer
We will be enjoying barbeque at the Gig Harbor reception and a taco bar at the San Ramon reception. Both receptions will have gluten free options.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
Yes, our registry is available on the website under the Registry section. Please do not feel obliged to purchase something from our registry, your presence at our reception is the ultimate gift.

Will you be changing your name?
Answer
We are now the Ash-Vermillion family. Please refrain from any personalized gifts that only use one of our old surnames.

Where should I stay for the reception?
Answer
For the Gig Harbor reception, guests can stay in Gig Harbor or Tacoma. In Gig Harbor, there are a few hotel options including The Inn at Gig Harbor, the Best Western, and the Maritime Inn. The Maritime Inn is a little bit more special as it is downtown, directly across from the historic harbor. For the San Ramon reception, hotel options located in San Ramon include the Hyatt House San Ramon, Sonesta Select San Ramon, and the San Ramon Marriott.
