What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie. Think floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, and tuxedos or dark suits with neckties or bowties. We also ask that everyone avoid wearing the colors White & Red to honor the Western and Eastern traditions of reserving these colors for the bride.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5pm. Any guests who arrive late will not be permitted into the ceremony. Guests are welcome to arrive starting at 4:15pm.

Are there shuttles?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttle service between the hotel blocks and the venue. Shuttles will be departing from Canopy hotel at 4pm Sharp. Please wait outside by the valet stand. If you are staying at Residence Inn, please walk over to the Canopy hotel. Look out for big yellow school buses!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue staff will valet all cars. Please note cars cannot be left overnight, so please plan accordingly and do not drive if you plan on drinking.

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be hosted indoors at the same venue. Stay warm inside and party with us!

What's for dinner?

Answer

The servers will take your order once we are seated for dinner. Options include steak, fish, and vegetarian. Please notify your server of any dietary restrictions.

What does '囍' mean?

Answer

囍 is the Chinese character meaning double happiness. It is made up of two copies of the Chinese character for "happiness," 喜. It's commonly used as a Chinese wedding symbol to represent double the joy and happiness for the newlyweds as they begin their marriage.
