Nicole Rhim
Maid of Honor
Amanda's always looked up to her older sister Nicole despite often getting mistaken as the older of the two. Growing up, Nicole was too cool to hang out with her little sister, refusing to drive her to school or let her borrow her clothes (that didn't stop Amanda from sneaking Nicole's favorite tops from her closet). Now, they have an undeniable need to match outfits when they go out and their 600-day Snapchat streak shows just how far they've come in their growing relationship. Nicole is the best sister and Maid of Honor anyone could hope for!
Dan Scheper
Best Man
Dan is Tom's older brother, and best friend. Despite a six year age difference, their extreme immaturity has allowed them to bond and remain close. Tom has always followed in Dan's footsteps, with both of them playing the same sports, at equally unimpressive skill levels, and eventually attending Notre Dame. Now, Tom and Dan share an unhealthy passion for Notre Dame football, and find joy in commenting on the skill level of exceptional college football players the way only washed-up players can. Dan has recently given Tom the joy of being an uncle to baby Sammy--life uh uh finds a way.
Kirsten Lentz
Bridesmaid
Kirsten and Amanda quickly became friends freshman year at Mizzou after the realization that they lived only 15 minutes away from each other their whole lives and, more importantly, of their mutual dislike for the St. Louis Blues. They've never let their "go-with-the-flow" attitudes stop them from being the life of the party (cue the matching strawberry costumes thrown together approximately 30 minutes before a Halloween party). One of Amanda's fondest memories at Mizzou was wandering the streets with Kirsten for hours attempting to find Riff Raff's non-existent after party. After nine years of friendship, Amanda has yet to meet a kinder, more selfless friend than Kirsten.
Brandon Rhim
Groomsman
Tom has come to see Brando as the younger brother he never had, while Tom is the older brother Brando never wanted. Brandon was extremely welcoming to Tom when he and Amanda started dating, and their friendship has grown greatly since. They've been to the Indy 500, taken a bite out of the Big Apple, and enjoyed unhealthy amounts of Bulgogi together. Brandon is now training to be a dentist at NYU, but please refrain from asking him to give you a teeth cleaning at the Reception.
Alison Gabella
Bridesmaid
When Alison and Amanda first met, they instantly clicked in their common interest of drowning out their respective boyfriends' obsessive golf-talk, and instead, focusing the conversation on things that really mattered, like the infamous Call Her Daddy breakup and who Matt James' soulmate was. Alison and Amanda continued to spend nights together at disco bars, social darts clubs, and karaoke bars, and there's no doubt that Alison will be the best hype woman and bring the party!
Pablo Gabella
Groomsman
Pablo is Tom's oldest friend and the two have been inseparable for most of their lives. Pablo was Tom's neighbor and carpool buddy, which quickly turned into daily playdates usually spent sprinting around the back yard playing Lord of the Rings--for obvious reasons, Tom was Aragorn , Pablo was Legolas, and Pablo's baby brother, Benji, was Gimli the dwarf. Much like these fictional characters, Tom and Pablo shared many adventures, like late nights in the Dirty Dena, Notre Dame games, and incredible amounts of pesto pasta ("Presto") consumed. Tom and Amanda are just thrilled to have Pablo and Big Al in the Bridal Party.
Emily Mejicano-Gormley

With their families living in neighboring houses when they were both mere infants, Emily and Amanda were destined to be friends for life. Together, they've conquered considerable feats, including crushing the roles of "Servant No. 3" and "Servant No. 4" in their elementary school musical Annie, earning sixth place (out of seven) in the 2006 New Buffalo Boat Parade, and having explosive Fourth of July weekends (literally, ask Emily to show you her battle scars). The only thing left for Emily and Amanda to crush is this wedding!
Kyle Gomez
Groomsman
Kyle and Tom first became friends on their abysmal high school Junior Varsity football team, where they spent more time running laps than actually playing. It's true what they say that "distance makes the heart grow fonder" because their friendship truly blossomed when Tom left for college and they could only spend school breaks hanging out. Kyle and Tom have collectively spent several years of their lives in Tom's backhouse playing Zombies and bumping Demi Lovato--guy stuff. Watch out for Kyle on the dancefloor!
Emily Nelson
Bridesmaid
Emily and Amanda have been close friends ever since they first met freshmen year at Mizzou in their neighboring dorms. Frequenters of Roxy's, Emily and Amanda leaned on each other throughout their entire college experience. They are so fortunate to be able to say the only fight they've ever had was over which Lil Wayne song to play next at the pregame. Amanda can't wait to have Emily steal the aux at her wedding!
Will Barefoot
Groomsman
Tom entered Davidson shy and uncertain of himself, but was fortunate to meet Will in the first days of college and they became tied at the hip. In fact Will and Tom were affectionately known as "Schep-Foot," and were repeatedly viewed screwing around on the sidelines during practice (and games unfortunately). Their friendship has brought them to dungy London pubs and the mean streets of Amsterdam, and has only grown despite living in different cities. Even though Tom is getting married and Will has a wedding of his own coming up, they remain Schep-Foot.
Mary-Kate Poulin

It became clear to Amanda that Mary-Kate was a life-long friend after she suggested to walk straight from a grueling Civil Procedure class in the pouring rain to get margaritas despite an 8:00am class the next day. In a short time, Amanda and MK became very close (some would say trauma-bonded) after not only slaving through law school together, but also exploring all corners of the world during their study abroad program (Shoutout Addo). Although they live on different coasts, Amanda knows MK will always be there for her!
Erik Matson

Erik and Tom's love story began in the wide receivers room at Davidson when in walks a tall, skinny fella with lettuce down to his shoulders. Erik and Tom hit it off immediately, honing their craft on the field, but managing to find time to really grow off the field. Whether it was hours spent in Club E butchering songs by Jim Croce, or making like a million baskets in a row on the court behind F. Erik is studying something super smart in Boston and it's a good thing he's an immunologist because this wedding is gonna be SICK.
Jane Lee

There was a special bond formed between Amanda and Jane after they were forced to perform PSY's "Gangham Style" for 11 hours straight at their high school's International Festival. They were lucky enough to be able to go to Mizzou together, and they were even roommates for years (and survived without killing each other!!). Through her friendships and accolades in nursing, Jane has always inspired Amanda, and she's so lucky to have her by her side on her wedding day.
Jared Carr

The Carr-Scheper connection began in Freshman training camp and quickly blossomed into a beautiful friendship. Jared and Tom always have a mega good time together, sharing a lackluster football career, a fraternity, and even a home for two years. Jared and Tom may have been 18th string players at their respective positions, but they're always first string in each others' hearts. Tom and Amanda's special day would not be complete without this preeminent Hot Boi. S'go!
James Gessner

This tall drink of water had the distinct privilege of being roommates with Tom for three years during college. In addition to playing four years of uninspired football together, James and Tom presided over the near disbandment of their fraternity and the destruction of multiple college housing units. James enjoys long roller blade rides on the beach, fedoras, and short-cut jorts. Tom and Amanda have tried desperately to get James, Camilla, and young Louis to join them in the Windy City, but we'll get 'em. Here's a puzzle for ya...
