Getting to Cooperstown
CAR Albany: 90-minute drive New York City: 4-hour drive Philadelphia: 4.5-hour drive Washington, DC: 7-hour drive PLANE Albany International Airport or Syracuse Hancock International Airport are your best bets for air travel. Both are about a 90-minute drive from Cooperstown. TRAIN The nearest Amtrak station is in Albany. BUS For those who are coming from NYC, Adirondack Trailways has a bus that will take you from Manhattan to Cooperstown. It leaves from Port Authority Bus Terminal and takes about six hours.
