We somehow managed to meet and fall in love during a global pandemic. Talk about your silver-linings! We first met on a dating app late in the summer of 2020. After a few weeks of messaging and two virtual dates (Ahhh, 2020) we decided to meet outdoors in Celia’s neighborhood to go for a walk, which ended up lasting over 2 hours because we wanted to keep talking. Our second in-person date was apple picking at a local orchard. Then we decided that we liked and trusted each other enough to move our romance indoors. We created a bubble and basically traded apartments every weekend after that. We moved in together in July 2021 and got engaged September 2022 (just under 2 years since our first date)!
