It was love at first swipe! Devin and Holly met on Bumble. Holly was home for a semester of nursing school when Covid started. Her and Devin met and hung out all summer of 2020. They started dating August 8, 2020, one week before Holly had to move back to Arizona for school. Devin visited Holly in Arizona multiple times during her last year of nursing school, and Holly came back to Minnesota. They went on many adventures together: Zion National Park, Arches, Sedona, Phoenix, South Dakota, and Florida (see some of their travels in the photos tab). Their long-distance love story ended in 2021 after Holly graduated and moved back to Minnesota.

During one of many Devin's trips to Arizona, he took Holly on a morning hike up a mountain. Holly was testing out the new drone Devin had bought for cool travel videos. As she was flying it, the screen showed Devin behind her on one knee asking her to marry him. Obviously, the answer was YES! The tears immediately started flowing and the drone almost crashed into the side of the mountain. Luckily, Devin's quick thinking saved the drone from crashing. They celebrated the proposal relaxing at their resort and sipping margs by the pool. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Rochester!
