Location: The Madonna Inn is situated minutes from downtown San Luis Obispo (SLO), in the beautiful Central Coast wine country region of our Golden State. It is approximately equidistant from Los Angeles and San Francisco, and driving from either metro area should take between 3.5 and 5 hours depending on the day and time of departure (traffic). SLO does have a small airport serviced by Alaska, American, and United Airlines, but guests traveling from out of state may find that flying into LA or SF and renting a car is more flexible and cost effective. Regardless, car or rideshare will be most convenient for local transport in the area. Weather: February in SLO is typically on the cooler side, with highs in the 60s and lows at night approaching freezing. The venue is indoors, but it is a short walk from the guest rooms. The wedding and reception venue is also one of the kitschiest and most iconic hotels in the country! If you plan to stay here, book as soon as possible, as the night of the wedding (and possibly also the night prior) is expected to sell out. For those staying only Saturday night, be sure to mention the wedding and request early check-in so you have time to get ready before the ceremony (they will try to accommodate but cannot guarantee).
