Train

Great Western Rail

We've taken the train several times to Cornwall - a great way for those travelling from London! There's a direct route from Paddington to St.Erth. Once you arrive at St.Erth you can either get a local train to Carbis Bay and St.Ives or alternatively grab a taxi. Also make sure to use your railcard if you have one! From experience the earlier you book train tickets the cheaper they will be.

Flight

LGW > NQY

An option for those travelling from London is the Gatwick to Newquay flight. The flight is only an hour long, followed by a 45 minute drive/taxi down to Carbis Bay.

Travel Note

Car

Allow a lot of time to travel down by car as it's a long journey. Luckily it isn't the school holidays, but from experience the traffic can still be busy on a Friday and Saturday. If you're planning to drive to the venue on the day of the wedding there will be parking at the venue, but please let us know in advance so we can make sure to reserve you a space.
