We are hosting a PreCeption in Nebraska for any friends and family who would like to attend, but particularly those who live local to that area. If you did not receive an invite but would like to attend, please reach out to the bride, mother of the bride, or mother of the groom. We will have a light supper available, the venue has a full bar with drinks for purchase, and there will be live music from the Silver Moon Band.
The Friday prior to the ceremony and reception in West Baden, Indiana, we will rehearse our ceremony at the Farm. Only those in the wedding party will be attending this rehearsal. Dave and Jamie Smith will be grilling it up for our supper. After that, we will head into French Lick for drinks. Everyone traveling for the events on October 5th is welcome to come to the restaurant (will update with time and location as soon as they're selected).
Tanner and Mackenzie will be staying at the West Baden Springs Hotel. Once they manage to wake up after the greatest night of their lives, they would love to enjoy a Farewell Brunch with guests. Everyone traveling for the events on October 5th is welcome to come to the restaurant (will update with time and location as soon as they're selected).
Our venue for the pre-ception does not have a very limited capacity at all. Please feel welcome to come and bring whomever you would like if and when you are able!
No shoes, no shirt, no service - That's about it
There is a small parking lot as well as free street parking near the Arlington Vet's Club. We suggest staying in the Fremont Holiday Inn or Fairfield Inn if you would like to stay overnight, however we have not reserved a block of rooms at either location.
Gifts are always appreciated and never expected. We will have a gift table set up if you do choose to bring a gift. Please see the "Registry" tab for all info on gifts!

Prior to September 1st, we have reserved for you the amount of seats indicated on your invitation. If upon searching your name in the RSVP tab, the amount of seats reserved for you does not match your invitation, or you believe there is someone in your party that has not been accounted for, please reach out to the bride, mother of the bride, or mother of the groom by September 1st!
The RSVP deadline is September 1st. If that date has passed and you have not visited the RSVP tab to accept or decline your invitation as well as the amount of seats you will be needing, or reached out to the bride, mother of the bride, or mother of the groom, we have marked you and your party’s invitation as “declined.” This is so that we have a complete count for vendors as well as our venue, and time to prepare the best experience for as many guests as possible to enjoy our day with us.
Prior to September 1st, if you need to change anything about your attendance response, please visit the RSVP tab. If that date has passed, please reach out to the bride, mother of the bride, or mother of the groom.
The dress code is Neutral Cocktail. To best coordinate with the wedding party, we encourage wearing neutral colors (black, gray, beige, tan, taupe, browns, greens) and floral patterns. Dresses that are short or floor length, no tie and jacket necessary, and please no jeans. The bride, groom, and wedding party will be dressed in traditional wedding attire. We kindly ask that all guests refrain from wearing solid white or off-white tops, pants, or skirts, or dresses that are solid or majority white or off-white.
Dinner will be what we enjoy eating most as a couple - a build your own taco and nacho bar with plenty of meat (the Flamion chicken and pulled pork wedding special), chip, dip, and topping options for even our pickiest eaters! Chips and dips will start being served at cocktail hour, along with our open bar with wine options, and Mich Ultra and Busch Light on tap. Water and soda will also be provided. Please let us know when you RSVP if anyone in your party has dietary restrictions.
Please see your invitation or the RSVP tab for details on who we have included in your party. If you believe there is someone in your party that has not been accounted for, please reach out to the bride, mother of the bride, or mother of the groom.
The bride and groom had to agree on a limited number of guests due to their venue capacity limit. Unfortunately, that means there are a number of friends and extended family that they are unable to invite. The bride and groom as well as their parents greatly appreciate your understanding and hope to see you very soon.
There is plenty of parking for all on the Farm. There will be signs for directions, as well as ushers helping out if you have any questions.
Please visit our "Travel" tab along the top of the page to see our suggestions for overnight stays!
