SUBJECTIVE: TJ is a 26 year old male from Minnesota with a past history of Taco Bell use disorder, movie enthusiasm, and music obsession. He presented to The Ohio State University in 2019, eager to begin his journey through medical school. During his time in Columbus, he came into contact with a charming young gentleman named Dimitri Gagianas. TJ’s newfound friend introduced him to his only sister, Georgia. TJ and Georgia instantly connected over their shared love of faith, family, and medicine. He eventually found himself at the Gagianas Thanksgiving table, where he experienced an onset of palpitations, heart tenderness, and tunnel vision (for Georgia). Just weeks after their relationship became official, the pandemic hit and TJ found himself in quarantine with the Gagianas family where they lived, ate, worshiped, and worked side by side for four months. Through this time together, their relationship grew as they became a strong and dedicated couple ready to take the next steps in building a life together. Over the years, their relationship has been aggravated by long distance, medical student budgets, and hours of studying. It was alleviated by FaceTime dates, frozen home-cooked meals by their mothers, and many plane rides. Despite many hurdles, they are doing well and are fully convinced they are ready for the next steps in their lives together. They are status post engagement on 5/5/23. TJ will plan to complete his first year of residency while Georgia finishes her last year of medical school. They will eagerly await their wedding at Holy Trinity Pittsburgh with subsequent reception at the William Penn Hotel on May 26th, 2024. DISPOSITION: -A special night with those closest to us.
