What is the dress code?

August 10th: This event is Bollywood festive! Which translates to smart casual, festive and colorful with Bollywood styling encouraged but not requierd! For women, it means a lot of color and fabulous glittery accessories. For men, it's just another day at the office ... just kidding! It can be anything colorful like a Hawaiian shirt or fun kurta. August 11th: Creative Formal Attire. We love to dress up! Please feel free to draw inspiration from any part of the world (East or West) and use the lists below only as starting ideas. We will be mostly indoors. Only the cocktail hour will be outside. Women Formal (floor length) evening wear (gowns/lehengas/saris, everything goes) Dressy cocktail dresses Dressy separates Men Snazzy sherwanis or formal kurtas Black jacket and trousers Or have fun with formal (piqué or pleated front) shirts, Bow ties, Black cummerbunds, Vests, Dressy braces

There are three major airports in the Washington, DC region. The one closest to the venue and the hosts is Washington Dulles International Airport (airport code: IAD) followed by Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (airport code: DCA), and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (airport code: BWI).
