We met like most modern day couples, through a dating app! It didn't take long for us to realize that this wasn't just a fling, but something that had real potential. The silver lining of COVID was that we got to spend a lot of time together without any outside distractions. As a couple, we made dinner together, went hiking, took a lot of roadtrips, and booked our first trip together.

It all started with a fake brunch date. On the way, T.J. said plans were changing and we were going to meet his friends at Papago Park. After a few "accidental" wrong turns, we parked and walked towards at a waterfront picnic set up for just the two of us with a sign above it, reading "Will you Marry Me". I turned around to see T.J. on one knee. We spent the afternoon having a picnic and smiling from ear to ear as a newly engaged couple!
