This relationship has been nothing but serendipitous, right from the beginning. Abhay and Tina met on Hinge, a dating app, in 2022, and after their first meet there was no turning back. They made plans to meet for dinner on Sunday, only to end up bumping into each other at a Beer Festival in Downtown LA on the Saturday prior. Serendipitous? They think so. Whether it was their first trip to Vegas, a special Christmas eve in San Diego, or bumping into Tom Felton at Universal Studios, Abhay and Tina are constantly finding joy in one another with every little thing they do. They lived 50 miles apart, but that never slowed them down (only LA traffic could do that!). Abhay and Tina roasted each other's dating profiles, but in the end, it was their in-person chemistry and joyful personalities that brought them together. For Tina, Abhay could intellectually challenge her, cook up the best gourmet meal, and tear up the dance floor with groovy moves and the cutest smile Tina had ever seen. For Abhay, Tina's witty retorts, can-do attitude, and energetic demeanor won him over quickly.... very quickly. The icing on the cake was how seamlessly they integrated with each other's families; a magical experience. Abhay and Tina quickly realized that this was the real deal (they literally started talking about their own wedding 3 weeks after their first date!). With blessings from both sides, Abhay had to figure out the last piece of the Lego set: how to propose. Knowing how insightful and and detail-oriented Tina is, he decided to propose when she was most distracted - their very first trip to the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Southern California. Tina, in her trusting and gregarious nature, never suspected the private boat ride was not offered to all guests. Upon disembarking, her naivete really showed, asking about the rose petal lined path, "Look honey! Someone is getting married!". As Abhay stifled a laugh, he drew her towards the lawn where it all became crystal clear: "Tina, will you marry me?" With Serendipity comes another important word: Gratitude. Gratitude that they found each other; Gratitude in their partnership; and Gratitude in the love and support from their family all around the world! So here we are, getting ready to celebrate the union of these two elated souls, with their love and affection growing stronger every day. They eagerly anticipate their future together and cannot wait to celebrate with their dearest friends and family!
