No joke, we eloped!

We met for the first time face-to-face for a quick coffee date at Dunkin' Donuts, after all, it seemed fitting as we are both from Central Maine. It only took a few dates and it was clear that we had a lot in common and enjoyed each other's company. After we started spending more time together and sharing our dreams it became clear that this might be...more. We spent a lot of time talking about who we are, where life has taken us, and where we want to go in life including our love of travel. Since having fun together, even on the hard days, is how we live our life it seemed so very fitting that the first Saturday in April, yes April 1st, would be the perfect day for our wedding! The ceremony was held at an Italian restaurant near our home in central Florida with delicious sangria along with pasta and pastries. We will be buying an RV or camper van and start traveling as we get a bit closer to retirement age. We are both still working we are starting our travel adventures by visiting family in Maine and Pennsylvania this spring. In the fall of 2023 we are headed to the Grand Canyon as we continue to craft our travel plans for the future. Tim is from Skowhegan and Greene and left Maine in 1992. Tracey is from Bangor and Augusta and left Maine in 2021. Despite all we have in common, how many times over the years we came close to crossing paths, it took a dating app while we were both in Central Florida for us to find each other.
