Downtown Mall
A visit to Charlottesville isn't complete without a stop at the Downtown Mall. A wonderful mix of restored and renovated buildings, visitors can enjoy shopping, dining and entertainment along the brick-paved pedestrian area. The Downtown Mall is a vibrant collection of more than 120 shops and 30 restaurants housed in historic buildings along the city's Main Street. Enjoy dining al fresco at a number of fine restaurants or shop at a number of unique boutiques. Watch a movie, play or live music at one of several performance venues. Convenient parking in nearby garages and parking lots, as well as a free trolley service connecting the Downtown Mall to the University of Virginia make a visit to the downtown area easy for visitors.
The Wool Factory
The Workshop, part of the Wool Factory complex, is a great place to grab a coffee and pastry and sit outside! Inspired by the industrious history of the property, The Wool Factory is a unique collaboration between chefs, brewers, winemakers, and coffee roasters aimed at creating a distinct food-and-beverage destination.
IX Art Park
Visit our favorite farmer's market Saturday morning at IX Art Park! Located behind Three Notch'd Brewery and delicious restaurants/food options!
Humpback Rocks
One of our favorite nearby hikes! A large rocky summit with sweeping views from 3,080 ft., reached via a steep, 2-mi. loop trail. You'll also get to cruise beautiful Skyline Drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains to get to this hike.

Glass House Winery
One of our favorite wineries in the area (and there are A LOT). A little over 30 minutes from Charlottesville, this place is part winery, part green house. On weekends, there is also great live music!
