Emily is my sister, but more importantly, she is my best friend and my role model. Growing up I always wanted to be wherever she was, and I probably drove her crazy as a tag-a-long little sister. She is superwoman! She has spent the last 7 years pursuing a medical degree, had two children while in residency, and has made it all look like a cake walk. Her daughter, my niece, Laurel, will be one of our flower girls. Emily is a steady constant in my life, and I know I can always count on her for advice, support, and prayer in any aspect of my life. Her and my brother-in-law, Russ's, relationship has always been an example to me of a Christ centered marriage, and I am so thankful she will be my matron of honor!

Emily is my longest friendship. She and I met in the hospital the day I was born, when she was only 8 months old! We grew up together, and she is more like a second sister to me than just a friend. We spent countless nights in our teenage years talking and dreaming of what our lives would look like, and now we get to watch those dreams play out in real time. I was lucky enough to stand by her side when she got married, and I have watched her effortlessly take on motherhood to her two boys. Her first, Owen, will be our ring bearer! I am blessed to have such a genuine, long-lasting friendship with Emily. We have shared many laughs and some tears throughout the years, and I am so honored she will be standing by my side on my and Tim’s wedding day!

Kaleigh and I met in nursing school at The University of West Georgia and have remained close friends in the years after! She is my go-to travel buddy and fellow concert lover. Kaleigh is a newlywed herself, and I was honored to stand by her side at her wedding! She is a faithful, thoughtful friend that cares deeply for those she loves. Kaleigh will go out of her way to do whatever she can to help and support her friends, and I’m so grateful for our friendship. I’m so excited that she will be a part of our special day, and I’m looking forward to the years of friendship ahead!
Katie Beth Laney

Katie Beth and I met in preschool at Tabernacle. We went to preschool, elementary, middle, and high school together! We went to separate colleges but reconnected when we both started working at Tanner in the NICU. She saw me through all the awkward preteen and teen years and supported me through every good and bad decision that came with them. Katie Beth is one of the most compassionate, genuine, and thoughtful people I know. She loves people and loves the Lord well. I am so grateful work reunited us, and I cannot wait for her to stand by my side on my and Tim’s wedding day!

Corey has always been an outstanding older brother to me. Since we were kids, he has shaped and influenced me in many ways. From teaching me how to play sports, ride a bike, be tough, and introducing me to a variety of music artists, his impact in my life is evident. I am excited for him to be part of my and Rachel’s big day.

Joseph has been one of my best friends since early high school. We have made many great memories together over the years that I cherish deeply. I was fortunate to be part of his wedding, and I am excited for him to be part of mine.

Aaron and I have known each other since childhood. I often consider him my oldest and longest lasting friendship. Me and Aaron went through school together and often played on the same sports teams, learning the values of hard work and effort together, which is an aspect of our lives that has lasted into adulthood.

Jimmy and I have known each other for years. In 2022, we became stepbrothers and roommates. Over the course of two years, me and Jimmy have grown close to each other and created some great memories together.
