A Little Party Never Killed Nobody!

Tim and Marissa first locked eyes from across their Jr. High School gymnasium one fateful day in 2002. Tim had started Winter Season of Wrestling and Marissa had started doing stats for the same team, but the two may never have had the chance to speak had Tim not gotten hurt that year. From that conversation spawned a "boyfriend and girlfriend" relationship only to end fifteen minutes later for fear of getting into trouble by their parents, but that would just be the start of a friendship that would last years to come. As they would make their own groups of friends they would always find themselves in the same inner circle, even their families would move within a block of each other one year in high school. After high school Tim and Marissa went separate ways for school, Marissa going to CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, Ca where she got her Bachelors degree in Theatre, and Tim moving around from San Francisco State, to UC Berkeley, to eventually Culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, Ca. The two would continue to grow into their own and make their own ways in life. Even though they weren't close in vicinity, Tim and Marissa would keep in contact here and there through text and social media until 2014 when they once again, by chance, found themselves living a mere blocks away from each other in San Jose, Ca. Their friendship had picked up right where it left off and began spending a lot more time together, blossoming that friendship into something more. Though no relationship is perfect and both were nervous about entering a "more-than-friends" zone, and perhaps jeopardizing a good friendship, they both ran forward open heartedly and made things official as a couple on August 26, 2015. Then came the ultimate leap as Tim and Marissa got engaged on August 26, 2017 in Berkeley, Ca. Now as we start our new journey together, vowing to be by each others sides through all of time and space, just you watch us run!
