Matt remembers the story slightly different, but Tiffany (who’s always right, right?) recalls meeting each other on a warm summer night in Newport Beach, CA. This wasn’t love at first sight, but rather an unexpected meeting weekend, after weekend … after weekend. Matt will tell you that it was his charm and persistence that brought Tiffany back to the same corner of the bar again and again, but anyone that knows knows it was the fan … you know, the ONE fan in the bar that all the girls swarm to, to make “their spot” for the night. The part where they exchanged numbers isn’t quite clear considering the circumstances, but some time shortly after, on a Sunday morning in July, Matt received an out of the blue call from Tiffany. Comfortably, but completely out of her character, Tiffany invited herself over to kill time before meeting up with her cousin and some friends. Matt was caught off guard, a little confused (remember: they’ve only seen each other in a dim, sticky, overly crowded bar by the beach), and a lot hung over from a Jason Aldean concert the night before. But it was that Sunday spent on the beach that led Matt to believe this could surprisingly be something while Tiffany came home that night telling her sister (the maid of honor), Coco, she thought Matt was going to be a really good friend. Little did they know, that spontaneous call was the beginning of forever together.
