Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue between 1-1.30pm ready for the ceremony to begin at 2pm.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is some parking at the venue but this is limited.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?

Answer

We may provide a coach from Edinburgh city centre to the ceremony if there is demand, so please let us know if this is something you would be interested in. As parking is limited, booking a taxi/Uber is also an option. If traveling by taxi/Uber to and from the venue, it is strongly recommended to pre-book your taxi/Uber for departure from the reception at a set time as trying to book a taxi after the reception may be difficult. Guests not residing at the venue will need to depart at midnight.

Will we need to travel from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place at Newhall Estate so there is no need to travel in between.

Cocktail/semi-formal.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The venue has limited capacity, so unless a plus one is included on your invitation please don't bring a date.

We don't have a registry - your presence is all the present we need!

Are dogs welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately the venue does not allow guests to bring additional dogs, but you will be able to meet Tiff's dog Jessie!

Kids are absolutely welcome and have been included on your invitation.

Please let us know about any dietary requirements when you RSVP and we will be sure to accommodate you.

Do I need a visa to enter the UK?

Answer

If you are a US citizen, you are exempt from a visa.
