Matron of Honor
Allie and I met 8 years ago at work and became quick best friends. Although we no longer work together, we're still attached at the hip. We connected right away on our love for the Cardinals, Grey’s Anatomy and Britney Spears! We’ve shared so many special moments over the years with just as many silly. Standing alongside Allie while she met her now husband, Clayton, adopted my fur nephew, Rex, and moved to their first home together was incredible. Being her Maid of Honor was even better and now I can't wait for her to stand by my side on my big day!
Bridesmaid
Amy and I met our Freshman year of college in our sorority at William Woods. Our friendship lasted long past our college days and I've called her my best friend for 13 years now! She's been there through so many stages of my life and having her in this one has been extra special. Watching her meet the love of her life, Evan, and stand by her while she married him is one of my favorite memories with Amy. I actually met Tiffany a month after Amy and Evan's wedding! My wedding wouldn't feel complete without her by my side!
Bridesmaid
Shannon and I met 11 years ago working our first big kid jobs out of college. We spent those days in a big friend group that was always involved in some float trip, rec sport, karaoke session, or other shenanigan. The crew evolved (matured, some might say) over the years, but Shannon and I remained steadfast in the shenanigans, even taking them across the country and around the world. And she's been there, without question, for every tough time, too. Shandawg's the Chad to my Brad, my soccer pal, my YOLO instigator, the biggest champion of my relationship with Alicia, and my best friend.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I met in law school 9 years ago. I was confused why this stranger wanted to be friends, but she was persistent, a self-proclaimed interloper. I soon found myself entering the same section of a revolving door as Katie, quickly admitting how mortified I was. She laughed as if she knew she'd hooked me, and the rest was history. I survived law school with Katie laughs, smarts, and weird conversations. Our friendship's only grown stronger since. She's dried tears, shared joy, let me call her sweet baby "my nephew," and now loves my Alicia as much as I love her Clance man.
Officiant
Darian and I (Alicia) first met at the Freshman Advantage program at William Woods as suite-mates. That wasn't enough for us so we became roommates and best friends when we joined the same sorority that fall. We were inseparable until Darian decided to move across the country to DC and then again over to the Pacific Northwest after graduation. Despite distance, our friendship remained strong and unbreakable. Standing by her side while she married the sweetest woman alive, Kaisa, was so special and a weekend I'll never forget! When I met Tiffany, Darian was our biggest cheerleader and would soon become Tiffany's best friend as well. Little did I know, they planned an elaborate proposal together for the weekend we would all be in Portland together celebrating Darian's big 30th birthday! Not only did I love having so many of my favorite people there but I especially loved Darian got to be there and helped make it happen! One of the first decisions we made after getting engaged was having Darian as our officiant. It was a no-brainer! She knows us both so well, loves us to our core and knows how to celebrate queer joy!
