Let's Celebrate!

In April of 2016, our paths crossed and gave us both memorable moments of the first time seeing each other in the Bobby Half bull pen (LOL). It was love at first sight, but 10 months until our first date...and then a few more years in the making! Our paths led us back to each other over and over again, convincing us we were written in stars. Tyler always likes to reference our love story as a "book" we're writing together, chapter by chapter. Each line in our story of life together comes from intentional hearts, support of our circle and our dearest couples therapist, Shelia (AKA ShareBear)!

It all began on May 28th when I was finally able to sneak away and help craft the most perfect ring for Tiffany! The following day, I asked Tiffany’s parents for her hand in marriage with some much-needed assistance from her sister-in-law, Aimee. We were able to coordinate a surprise following church for me to ask for their blessing. After, I went back and forth on how I wanted to make our proposal as special as possible. I decided that I absolutely needed to do it on our upcoming vacation to Jamaica and make this the most memorable trip ever! We embarked on our trip on July 4th. Aside from the security scare I gave TSA (and myself), everything went off without a hitch! After being able to scope out the resort, I knew the next day would be “the day” because I could not wait any longer. We had the best day ever on July 5th and an even better sunset! Which was key because I wanted to propose on the beach at “golden hour”. Luckily, with the help of a couple gentlemen they were able to capture the proposal better than I could have ever asked for. Hopefully, everyone has had a chance by now to see Tiffany’s freak out and sheer disbelief it was even happening! I can confidently say I blacked out and was a nervous wreck. But I was still able to rattle off what I spent countless hours perfecting: “Tiffany Lea Ferriss, I recently told you that I was exactly where I needed to be at in life. That life includes YOU! That life will always include you now and forever. I love you so much, will you marry me?”
