Dewi Putri

Maid of Honor

Dewi met Tiffany at a house church in Davis but weren't that close even after they became housemates. They had some conversations here and there but they were never serious. After college, Dewi moved back to Bay Area and they had stopped staying in touch. Their friendship was restored after Tiffany moved back to Bay Area and invited Dewi to her church in Fremont. Since then they have enjoyed doing everything together, trying new food, hiking, traveling and many more. It's crazy how two people who are so bad at staying in touch are still such close friends for so long. Tiffany has influenced Dewi to change for the better in Christ.

Colette Young

Bridesmaid

When Tiffany was four, Colette was born as her younger sister. Some of her earliest memories are when they bonded over Zelda games, practiced musical instruments, and played in camping trips. During college, Tiffany also encouraged Colette in her spiritual walk, inviting her to her church events and introducing her pastors. Both now work in the medical field, and offer each other support with their experiences.

Samantha Luke

Bridesmaid

When Samantha moved to the States in sixth grade, Tiffany was one of the first friends she made at Stanley Middle School. Even though the two parted for different high schools and didn't keep in touch, they met again at UC Davis' Welcome Day. The two quickly decided to become freshman roommates, and living together for the rest of college years really bonded the two. Since then, they have become close friends through countless girl talks, birthday surprises, embarrassing moments, and mini adventures. They also supported each other through many life milestones. Samantha always loves Tiffany’s silliness, blushing face, artistic skills and genuine kindness.

Carol Nguyen

Bridesmaid

Carol and Tiffany met at UC Davis in the Chemistry building during their freshman year. As they walked past each other in the hallway one day, Tiffany stopped Carol and asked her if she had goggle marks on her face--she didn't, but this chance encounter was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. They soon realized they were staying in the same dorms and eventually became housemates for the remainder of their time in college. They bonded over indie music, French films, and their shared hippie tendencies. Carol always enjoyed being Tiffany's "mini-me." After graduation, the two friends continued keeping in touch, deepening their friendship, and supporting each other through different life milestones.

Jonathan Overall

Best Man

Growing up in the same church, Jonathan Overall and Jonathan Lai met during childhood, while attending Sunday School. After college and into the early years of career-life, their friendship grew stronger. During those years, it was a shared interest in outdoor activities, discussions about investing, cryptocurrency, politics, and career pursuits that established a friendship. However, it was the deeper conversations about life, future families and God that forged a brotherhood.

Thomas Scott

Groomsman

Only through the grace of God did Thomas meet Jonathan - as camp counselors for their church, Shiloh Kids Summer Camp. They were signed up as the leaders for the Red Rhinos Cabin (3rd - 5th grade boys). For one whole week they tried their best to lead the elementary kids through Bible lesson plans, activities, meals, and an occasional fight or two. Although while at camp, they never caught a break, they did gain a foundation of friendship that has bonded them for as many years, that the now high school teens, still come up to them at church and reminisce of all the fun only the Red Rhinos leaders could have provided.

Joseph Lin

Groomsman

Joe met Jonathan at the dorms as a freshman at UC Davis. He remembers Jon’s friendly and energetic demeanor, sometimes offering greetings in Chinese and Spanish. They bonded while eating at the dining commons and racing each other on the bike. Since then they’ve enjoyed a lot of fun activities including exploring Fry’s electronics, hiking to the top of Yosemite Falls and witnessing a total solar eclipse. Most importantly, they are brothers in Christ, always present to support each other through different stages and transitions of life.

Emmanuel Manasievici

Groomsman

Manny met Jonathan in the Tercero residence halls freshman year at UC Davis, with their paths continuing to cross on campus, in class, and at fellowship. Their connections would continue both back in The Bay and in Southern California, meeting over city walks, discussions of sundry topics (ranging from linguistics to local history to life lessons), and meals at various eateries. In recent years, they have both been active in “The Only Sons / TOS” (among which is also counted fellow groomsman Joe Lin), a nearby group of brothers in Christ, many UCD alums, who convene for exploration of natural, suburban, and urban environs on foot and bicycle, following not only the trails of the day but also those of life.
