Question
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held at The Farm at Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, North Carolina. The ceremony will be held indoors at the Orchard House. There will be a cocktail hour to follow in the peach and apple orchard (weather permitting). Following cocktail hour, guests will be guided through the courtyard to the Pavillion where the reception will take place.

What should I wear?
Answer
We ask that you celebrate in style with us in semi-formal attire. For the ladies - you are welcome to dress up in a formal dress, or you can also wear a cocktail dress if you feel more comfortable in that. The cocktail hour is on grass, so be mindful of shoes. For the gentlemen - you can wear a tux or a suit. We want you to feel your best! The Ceremony and Reception will be indoors, but cocktail hour will be held outdoors if the weather is nice. There is an outdoor courtyard as part of the reception venue. Whatever you wear, bring your dancing shoes!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM EST. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to sign our guest book and find your seat! Transportation will be running from 4:30-5:00 PM to get you there on time.

Is there a shuttle to and from the ceremony?
Answer

Is there Uber, Lyft, or Taxi?
Answer
Unfortunately, rideshare services are unavailable in Highlands. We recommend staying at the recommended hotels to ensure reliable transportation to and from the ceremony and reception.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired an AMAZING professional photographer and videographer to capture one of the most important moments of our lives. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos with you as soon as we get them.

Are my kids able to come?
Answer
Although we love your little ones, we are hosting a child-free wedding apart from those included in the wedding party. Old Edwards has a list of recommended babysitters or you can bring your own!
