Yes and No. Traveling is always better with a partner or friend so bring them along to join the fun as we will be partying to celebrate all weekend. Please be respectful of the fact that we are only allowed 50 guests to the actual Beach Ceremony so if your RSVP is only addressed to you, we ask that your plus one relax during our exchanging of vows but join us for all other activities before and after the ceremony.
We are holding rooms for October 9-16, 2024. You may request to stay before and/or after these dates. We will just need to get the confirmation from the hotel before we can send your receipt. There is a 3-night minimum stay for all guests.
As resort suites and flights are booked on a first come, first serve basis, you will want to book your travel sooner than later. Our wedding coordinator will need a final head count for guests on February 2, 2024 so we ask that you have arrangements locked in prior to 2/2/24 so that we can plan accordingly. Sam and Tiara will be staying at the resort Wed. October 9th - Mon. October 14th, 2024, but you are welcome to book your stay for as long or as short as you would like. This is your vacation just as much as it is ours!
We will be doing a group catamaran cruise Friday, October 11, 2024 for those that RSVP'd for that event. If you want to join you must RSVP, catamaran size is based off of the number of guests that RSVP "yes". We do encourage you to plan any excursions that you will enjoy. We want this to be a vacation for our guests as much as it is for us.
Yes, a passport is required to travel to Mexico. Please make sure it is up to date and will not expire 6 months prior to your Mexico trip. If you need to apply for or renew your passport, we would recommend doing so ASAP.
Yes! we recommend bringing small bills ($1s) to tip bartenders and servers if you are experiencing good service. Tipping is not mandatory, however, we have found if we tip, we tend to receive drinks and slightly faster service with smiles :) Often tip a few dollars here and there. Make sure you call your bank before you leave and let them know you will be in Mexico in case you need to purchase anything with credit/ debit cards.
