Are cameras/phone allowed?

We invite you to be truly present with us during our ceremony by having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony conclusion!

What is the dress code?

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire. - Dress shirt and slacks with an optional tie - Skirt and blouse in high-quality material - A long or knee-length dress - Tasteful pantsuit or jumpsuit Please do NOT wear: - Jeans - Sneakers - T-shirts - Flip flops - White/similar color

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcomed?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone’s children at our wedding due to restricted numbers. If we were unable to invite your children we hope that you will see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us 💕.

Do I go to the ceremony site or reception site first?

Answer

Please show up at the reception site for pre-cocktail hour first. If arriving after 3:30pm please drive straight to the ceremony site.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

No, but they are a 2 min drive away from each other. Reception Address: 24590 Main St, Foresthill, CA 95631 Ceremony Address: The ceremony site does not have an actual address. It is 1.4 miles up the road (Foresthill road). It is on the right and has a white sign that says Forest House Lodge Ceremony Site.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors and outdoors.

Is the ceremony site walkable?

Answer

Not really, there is no designated sidewalks. The sides of the road are dirt in a slant downhill. Recommend to drive.

Is there parking at the ceremony site?

Answer

Yes, there will also be a parking attendant to guide you.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the Lodge?

Answer

No, please use your own transportation vehicle or even carpool together.

Is there Lyft/Uber up there?

Answer

Uber and lyft are very sparse up at Forest House Lodge. You may get lucky but please do not rely on it.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception site where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Can you mail anything to Forest House Lodge?

Answer

No, it is not a good idea to ship ANYTHING to the lodge. They do not have an official address at the lodge to receive mail. Please mail it to this address: 4666 Goldcrest Way Antioch, CA 94531

How do I know if I have a room at Forest House Lodge?

Due to very limited room availability, rooms will be assigned for selected guests and will be notified during their RSVP invitation on our website.

When can I check in to the Forest House Lodge?

Answer

If you are a selected guest that is staying at the Forest House Lodge with us you may check in as early as 2:00pm.

When is breakfast and check out if staying at Forest House Lodge?

When do I pay if I am staying at the Forest House Lodge?

If you are a selected guest staying with us at Forest House Lodge then you pay at the time of arrival.

Is alcohol allowed in the guest rooms?

Answer

There is absolutely no alcohol allowed in the guest rooms per Forest House Lodge liquor license rules. If a guest is found walking in with it, they will confiscate it until the remainder of their stay. *if it ain’t seen then it ain’t there 😉

Are their hair dryers and irons?

Answer

Yes, Forest House Lodge does have hair dryers and irons at the end of each hallway for guests to use.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Answer

Yes, there is Wi-Fi available. The password is displayed at the check-in desk.

Are there TVs in the rooms?

Answer

Yes, there is a television in each of the guest rooms with basic cable, and we also have televisions in the Bar and the Man cave with DIRECTV.

Are pets allowed?

Answer

No, Forest House Lodge does not allow pets besides licensed service pets.

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

No, they are the property of Forest House Lodge

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we highly encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #thullwedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
