Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos and suits are appropriate, as are mid to floor-length gowns. More information: https://www.brides.com/black-tie-optional-wedding-attire-4800698 In late October in NYC the weather may be chilly, so consider long sleeves or jackets. While we want everyone to get dressed up to celebrate, don't be afraid to jazz it up with fun colors and accessories!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?
Answer
There will be a bus leaving from the EVEN Hotel at 5:30pm to transport guests to the Cocktail Hour. The bus will also make trips back to the EVEN Hotel, departing the venue at 10pm and again at 11pm. The bus will drop passengers approximately a 5 minute walk from the Boathouse, so please plan accordingly. Additional transportation options: Subway from Dekalb Station (15 minutes) take the Q train towards Coney Island to the Prospect Park station, 5 minute walk through Prospect Park to Boathouse Uber/Lyft/Taxi to Ocean Ave & Lincoln Rd, 5 minute walk through Prospect Park to Boathouse For Lyft, you should enter "Prospect Park Audubon Center at the Boathouse" for the correct address. For Uber, you should enter "The Prospect Park Boathouse & Audubon Center" for the correct address.

Are kids welcome?

Kids are welcome! Please check your invitation for indication of who is invited, and make sure to RSVP accordingly so we can get an accurate headcount.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
While we would like to accommodate all requests, due to limited capacity, we can only allow people named on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{ Your name & Guest}" if a plus one has been given to you.
