Fast forward to May 2023 when we finally had the chance to take our first vacation. Thomas rented a beautiful Airbnb in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada, and planned several days of romantic activities! On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, during a private wine tasting overlooking Lake Ontario, Thomas popped the question (with a big YES! of course) and further surprised Kristin with a professional photo shoot right after! A night after our proposal we had dinner at Prime Steakhouse in Niagara Falls we excitedly told the hostess we had just gotten engaged! After we had been seated we noticed an older couple that was seated behind us. We overheard that they were celebrating their 50th anniversary. We excitedly told them we had just gotten engaged! To celebrate our engagement as they left they sent us each a glass of champagne! We started our engagement off right! Thomas said I thought that only happened in the movies! We are so excited to be engaged and be sharing our love. And we would love if you could join us to celebrate on our big day!

We met online in November 2019. Kristin swiped right but Thomas sent the first message. Before we knew it, we were Skyping until midnight (or later!). We officially "met" in person on December 20, 2019, in the Galleria Mall so Kristin could finish her Christmas shopping. Thomas hates shopping, so this was a testament to how much he already liked Kristin. Finding that we enjoyed each other's company, we kept meeting up. In March 2020, Kristin decided to move in with Thomas after COVID forced them both to work remotely. To our surprise, we didn't kill each other. On the contrary, our relationship grew and flourished. When quarantine ended, we knew we had a good thing going and decided to keep on living together. We had a whirlwind romance and our engagement has been so exciting and filled with love.
