We met our freshman year at Georgia Tech - it took us a matter of 5 months to find each other. We met at a friend's apartment and wound up talking to each other the whole time. After seeing him on campus one more time, I decided to ask Thomas to a date night and the rest is history! We immediately hit it off and spent time doing typical freshman things together, like eating cereal in dining halls and hanging out on the benches outside of our dorms. Growing together through college was full of adventures and joy. Since then, we’ve both graduated from Tech and are working at Home Depot, with many more adventures to come!

After getting the ring, reality hit me, and I wanted it on her finger ASAP. I immediately knew I wanted to propose in Atlanta because that is where we met and have created many memories. With that, I chose one of the best outdoor places in Atlanta, Piedmont Park. The day-of I planned for us to walk through the park before a nice dinner (where our families were waiting - she just didn't know it yet). On our walk I had us stop by a bench overlooking the lake where I explained my love and my gratitude for her love and patience over the years (I'll spare the details). After getting down on one knee, an emphatic "yes", and many pictures, we headed to St. Cecilia for a great celebration dinner with our families. We can't wait to celebrate the start of the rest of our lives with all of you!
