Since this is an afternoon event, the dress code is Cocktail - Suits for men and cocktail/party dresses or pantsuits for women. Note that there is a stretch of grass between the ceremony area and cocktail/reception area that you will need to walk over that does not have a solid walkway.
The ceremony and cocktail hour is planned to be outdoors with the reception indoors. The outdoor patio is adjacent to the reception hall and will be available throughout the day. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain! If the weather does not cooperate everything will be moved indoors.
Historically, on the first weekend in June in Lyndonville the average temperature range is a high of 65 and low of 55 degrees with mild breezes and a slight chance of rain. We recommend having a sweater or light jacket especially as the sun goes down.
Light hors d'oeuvres will be served during the cocktail hour followed by a buffet dinner.
There will be space on your RSVP card and on the RSPV section of our webpage to write any dietary restrictions so we can address them with our caterer. You can also contact Janet directly with any concerns.

We are asking that only the photographer take pictures during the ceremony. Our contract specifically requires us to make it known that the photographer has absolute priority during the ceremony, cocktail hour, family photo session and reception and cannot guarantee us quality pictures if guests are moving around, crowding, distracting or interfering in any way with her ability to move about or take unobstructed photos. Feel free to take photos at any time other than the ceremony as long as the photographer isn't interfered with. We also ask that photos taken during the weekend are not posted to social media until we have the opportunity to announce our marriage ourselves which will be after we get the the pictures back from the photographer.
The reception will end at 7:00.
Our venue and vendors do not have specific Covid requirements at this time other than asking guests that are not feeling well to not attend. Unfortunately, it looks like Covid will be around for a while and we respect everyone's circumstances and views on safety precautions. Do what you feel comfortable doing. Please keep in mind that there will be a number of older people attending that may have compromising health issues. All we ask is that everyone be responsible and respectful in protecting the health of all our guests.
