WE STILL DO!!!!

We met at my (Vernita's) parent's house. Raney was in the US Army and we had mututal friends and family. The first time we saw each other, he was dating someone else. I was the babysitter so my aunt could go out with him and his date! Fast forward two years, he had just completed a tour in Korea and was no longer dating anyone. (THANK GOD!!) He came to see me and we have been together since then.

On the anniversary of when we first met, we went back to our old stomping grounds to do karaoke with friends. When "I'd Do Anything for Love" came on, we ran up to the front. When the music suddenly died down, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I screamed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
