Matron of Honor
When I tell you Isabel has been my role model from the start… I have never wanted to be someone’s friend as much as little Emily wanted to be 3rd grade Isabel’s friend. I have looked up to her from the start, and that admiration has grown as time goes on. Your heart for the Lord and devotion to Him in your marriage is something I look to model from you. Thank you for leading me, my beautiful sister and Matron of Honor! I love you!
Maid of Honor
Bacon! Long story as to why I call her that, but she’s the best little (tall) sister I could ask for. God gave me a built in best friend from the moment she was born… from growing up in the same room (AKA Megan cleaning our room for the both of us), to sister fights over the bathroom in high school, to having relatable car stories together, and laughing at each other’s faces upside down… there’s no one else I’d rather call my Maid of Honor. I love you, Bacon!

First of all, shout-out to Shahd for paying for William and my first arcade game together… we still owe you $5 on a Main Event card. Anyways… Woohoo! The Christina to my Meredith! You’re literally one of the best 3 hour phone calls a gal can receive! I have grown so much through our conversations and I am so grateful for every time we get to talk and learn from each other. I love you so much!
Bridesmaid
Awe Cierra, you are such a blessing in my life! You actively show me what it looks like to be a godly wife, mother, sister, and friend! I have learned so much from you! I am so grateful to the Lord that He gave me another sister I can grow with for the rest of our lives! I can’t wait for our momma play dates with the cousins! I love you so much!
Bridesmaid
Abbey! You have been such a blessing in my life for YEARS- from getting me out of my shell and comfortable speaking to a human being on Wednesday nights when we were in high school, to now always making me feel comfortable being myself around you. I couldn’t ask for a friend that genuinely takes me for who I am more than you. We could do anything under the sun together and I’d walk away with a full cup because it was with you. I love you!
Bridesmaid
Deysia Lawerence! You just snuck up on me didn’t you..? The Lord blessed me with our friendship unexpectedly, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have to keep you around until we’re both old ladies… I can’t lose those Deysia wisdom bombs! Love you!!
Bridesmaid
Oh boy… my twin flame? Not sure what that means but we have the tattoos to prove it! (just kidding, but that was a close call). I wouldn’t have wanted to live in the dorms with anyone but Jayden, I’ve never met someone who’s so different and yet exactly the same as me. I love you Jay, and am so proud of you! I miss you and Dennis better bring you back to the mainland soon or I’m moving in with y’all!
Bridesmaid
My sista from anotha mistaaa!!! Cheridan we can finally and officially call each other sisters… although it’s been happening since we met basically! I’m so grateful for our friendship and everything I’ve learned from you the last 2-3 years! Here’s to having the cutest cousin play dates with our kiddos!!! ily!
Best Man
My literal day one. My twin brother and best man. There have been few moments in life where we are not doing something together. He’s my WR1 (and more recently QB1, my 2’s teammate (in many situations), but also my main competition (because “it’s unfair to put the twins on the same team” or whatever crap they always pull), and for some reason unbeknownst to me my fantasy football kryptonite. Besides all that, Philip is also a strong man of faith that I greatly respect and look up to. He has taught me a lot about being a man and how to live out the faith just by the way he lives. He’s a cool dude, you should def talk to him.
Groomsman
Other than Philip, I have known Daniel the longest out of all my groomsmen. We have been tailgating with Daniel since I can remember being alive. However it wasn’t until high school we started to really become friends. Since then Daniel has been one of my closest friends. I have truly enjoyed getting to see this guy grow and mature into the man he is today. Whether it was countless cheap shots and after the whistle contact during the football games at the tailgates, or our days being scout team heroes at Hamilton, or the fun times in the dorm, or the last 3 years being roommates in the house, we have done it all together. Daniel is a cool dude (and an incredible roommate), for sure would talk to him if you’re looking for a good chat or a high quality renter.
Groomsman
I met Abe almost 3 years ago now. Abe was a regular at the Black Rock that Philip worked at. Philip would tell me about this cool regular he met and started inviting him to things. Abe would come to Young Adults, and to watch March Madness with us, but we didn’t start getting close until he finally accepted our invite to Saturday morning basketball. His first game on he chased a 3 right in my face and he instantly gained my respect. I saw this dude hit a 5 iron 240 yards to Eagle a par 5. Abe and I have developed quite the chemistry on the basketball and volleyball courts over the past few years to the point where you don’t want us to be on the same team. However, it is all the deep life conversations off the court that have really bonded our friendship whether it is faith, politics, life struggles, etc. we talk about it all. Ladies, he is single and easy to talk to, highly recommend striking up a conversation with this gent.
Groomsman
My freaking dawg. I met Kevin during the dog days of AP Chem. We bonded from our shared desire to not pay attention during chem (technically it was my desire, but he was my only friend in that class so he went along for the ride lol). Ever since then though Kevin has been one of my closest friends. He has been there for me through some tough times and some ugly seasons in my life. Kevin is one of the most loyal friends a man could ask for. So grateful for his friendship and a truly cool dude. Very funny, highly recommend connecting with this guy (get those LinkedIn accounts ready).
Groomsman
I’ve known Sam since 4th grade when we would play carpet ball before church. Sam and I reconnected in high school where we picked up right where we left off. Since then, he has been one of my closest friends. Whether we are talking about sleepers we want the Cardinals to draft or about our Lord Jesus Christ, there has never been a dull moment with Sam. He has been there for me through some of the toughest times in my life, a true friend, and a cool dude. Def recommend a chat with the boy.
Groomsman
I met Guillermo sophomore year of high school, he was the new kid at practice who never said a word. So I made it my mission to get him to talk. After several months of wearing him down with one way conversation, he finally broke down and became my friend. For those who don’t know also, Guillermo is Spanish for William, which became problematic when Guillermo started coming around because my mom calls me Guillermo from time to time. Anyways, I have loved being friends with Guillermo, he is one of the most loyal and talented people I have ever met. If you are reading this Guillermo, I love you. A very cool dude and one the most interesting people you will ever meet, 100% would recommend pestering him until you start having a conversation.
Groomsman
Teagan and I didn’t get off to the hottest start as friends as he was wondering why I was hanging around Philip so much. However, once he learned I was actually his brother we have been really good friends. You can always count on Teagan for a good time and a good laugh. I have really appreciated getting to know this man over the years and sharing our ups and downs as we go through life. Teagan has been a blast to have as a roommate and now has a girlfriend named Emily himself. This has clearly not once caused confusion in conversation. Last thing I will say about Teagan is that he is a cool dude and someone that would be fun to have a conversation with.
Groomsman
I have known Jonny (or Jonathan as he prefers so call him that unless you have known him since 4th grade like I have) since 4th grade. We got switched into our VBS group and ever since then we have been boys. Jonny has always been there for me no matter what to give advice and wisdom. I have really cherished our friendship over the years and love getting to talk to him. He is also one of the scrappiest guys you’ll ever meet and if we are ever competing in anything, Jonny is a guy you want on your squad. Finally, he is a cool dude, and a pleasure to talk to, I recommend it to anyone.
Groomsman
Alex has been one of my closest friends since Sophomore year of high school. I remember the story of how I knew I needed to be friends with this guy. I will spare the details for Alex’s sake, but it was hilarious. Anyways, Alex is one of the funniest, kindest, and wisest guys I know. I have learned so much from him about how to be a good friend, a man of faith, and a boyfriend/fiancé. Another cool dude, and 10/10 would def recommend talking to him. Also keep an eye out for him on the dance floor, you could possibly witness something incredible out of him.
Groomsman
I’ve known I since freshmen year of high school. Our friendship got off to a bit of a rocky start partly (mostly) due to Ian calling me “Pantsless Will” for the entirety of freshmen year. You can ask Ian to tell you that story, he loves to relive those days. Anyways, after our rough start, we got to hanging out and talking at practice and between classes and started really become boys. Right when Ian and I started to become really good friends this man says, “I think I am going to Purdue”. After realizing he couldn’t do 4 years without me there, he reconsidered and chose to go to ASU where our friendship really blossomed to what it is today. Ian is the smartest and hardest working guy I know (to a fault sometimes), and if you ever get the pleasure of listening to this man tell some of his crazy life stories, you will not be disappointed. Ian is a man of faith and discipline that I greatly respect and admire. Ladies, this one is also single and easy to talk to, but he comes with a beware of sarcasm warning sticker.
