‘Til Death Do Us Part

We met through an online dating site during COVID where we talked for weeks getting to know each other. We went on our first date to a bowling alley, public and local just in case someone was crazy, and we had an instant connection. We went on more dates and spent lots of quality time together discussing goals and learning each other. We fell in love a few months later.

I was preparing dinner when Issa came into the kitchen, looking a little nervous with his hands in his pockets. He spoke beautiful words from his heart and then got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. He knew I didn’t want a big or fancy proposal so it was the most perfect and intimate moment for us.
