For daytime fun we recommend shopping at the Country Club Plaza and walking around the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art then making your way over to see Union Station and the WWI Museum and Memorial. If you're into craft beers or coffee houses, there's about a million microbreweries and coffee shops around KC. For some nighlife action, we recommend Power and Light District or the Westport area. If you're looking to explore the Kansas City jazz scene, we recommend checking out one of the venues at 18th and Vine or the Green Lady Lounge. If you're looking to try some of KC's famous BBQ we recommend Arthur Bryants, Gates, Jack Stack, Q39, or Oklahoma Joe's. If you have a late flight Sunday, we recommend checking out the Farmer's Market at the River Market on Sunday morning.
