We’re getting married!

We first met in high school at Merriwood Christian Camp. We were on the same team for each of our high school weeks for three years. We were always friends and when we both ended up working there we became closer. Over the summer we realized there was a genuine connection and that we just enjoyed spending time together more than anything.

Ciera was coming up to visit some friends for the weekend and to surprsie a good friend for her birthday. Zach had planned a date day for the two of us. We got lunch and painted mini pictures of each other before heading to Waterrock Knob, the place we went hiking to on our first date. Ciera was told be ready to take pictures because we were about to do long distance again. Ciera’s roommate had met us there and was going to document the whole thing. After hiking to the top and watching as a storm rolled in, Zach got down on one knee and the rest is history.
