It’s Finally Happening!

Michelle was a Meteorologist from Maryland and Mike was a News Producer from Pennsylvania. Through newscasts and weekend shifts working in Scranton, PA, these two became good friends. Eventually time cues turned into dinner dates and friendship developed into romance. Across several states and sometimes hundreds of miles, love conquered the challenges of long distance and life’s unexpected curve-balls. In January 2019, Mike popped the question and they decided on 'Forever.'

After a fun-filled day living it up with sea lions and cruising around the Bahamas, Michael and Michelle returned to their room to freshen up for dinner. Michael asked Michelle to come out to their private balcony, and she asked, “why?!” (About 2 or 3 times!). Upon joining him on the balcony, facing the infamous Atlantis Hotel as the sun began to set, Mike asked her to take a seat and handed her a beautiful book titled “Michelle & Mike.” Flipping through pages of memories and the evolution of their love story, Michelle turned to the last page to see a picture of a beautiful diamond ring. She looked up to find Michael on one knee holding out that very same ring. In the most perfect and intimate setting, he posed the question and she happily exclaimed, “Yes!” And, with that, they decided to cruise on and journey into forever, together.
