Mount Dora Historical Society Museum
Housed in a 1923 fire station, the Mount Dora Historical Society Museum documents local history. It contains exhibits depicting the history of Mount Dora. The building itself, constructed in the 1920’s, was originally the firehouse and jail for the city.

Sonnentag Theatre at the Icehouse offering SHOUT! The Mod Musical. Showtimes are available Friday, March 29 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, March 31 at 2:00 pm.
Premier Boat Tours
Premier Boat Tours offer one and two hour pontoon boat tours on Lake Dora and The Harris Chain of Lakes, which include the famous Dora Canal described as “the most beautiful mile of water in the world.” During the cruise, a certified captain and crew will share their stories and local knowledge of the area, its history, flora and animal life. Bald eagles, herons, anhingas, turtles and alligators are all common sightings during the tours. Daily scheduled tours are available at 11:00 am, 2:00 pm and sunset.
Rusty Anchor Mount Dora
The Rusty Anchor Mount Dora tours has over 30 years experience wowing passengers. One and two hour tours of Lake Dora and the Dora Canal are available. Relax and enjoy the most beautiful mile of waterway and Florida’s flora and animal life like never before. Captains are US Coast Guard certified and many are natives of the south. One hour Sunset Cruise goes out each day and the two hour Dora Canal cruises leave at 10:00 am, 12:30 and 3:00 pm from Mount Dora’s City Dock right next to the Yacht Club. Private party tours are available and have excellent group rates.
