COVID-19 update

we're not putting our life on hold

To our family and friends - we would love nothing more than to celebrate our wedding with all of you in the fun way we had pictured - which included lots of charcuterie, chips/guac, tacos, cervezas, and dancing to 2010s hits. Sadly, our venue is no longer able to accommodate our full reception. And since we can't imagine trying to pick and choose between our guests, we've decided to limit our reception to the wedding party only. With both of our big families and lots of nieces and nephews, this will still be quite the crew for a celebration. The good news is that our church is huge and will be able to accommodate all of our guests who feel comfortable attending our ceremony. We hope you will be able to join us! We will have a drive-by receiving line after the ceremony so we can say hello and thank you to everyone. We thought about trying to pick a new date and hoping things may be better, but even that seemed so uncertain still. Our wedding is one day - and we have a lifetime to go. We're ready to be married. We look forward to the day when we will be able to celebrate with each of you. Thank you so much for you love, understanding, and support! Here's to facing life's challenges together (but apart)!

our story

how we got here

Our first date was at Bryant's Cocktail Lounge in the Walker's Point neighborhood of Milwaukee. This was the bar where Anna's grandparents went to celebrate their engagement back in 1956. We got engaged 9 months to the day we met in Anna's backyard - and of course went back to Bryant's to celebrate our own engagement! Our next stop was The Thistle & Shamrock (aka "The Sham"), our neighborhood pub (they covered our tab that night!), and a place where we plan to celebrate on our wedding day. Finding each other has been such a fun adventure, and we are so excited to celebrate this special day with our family and friends. We feel so lucky to be together and to have the opportunity to share our wedding celebration with you. Thank you for sharing in our joy!

For all the days along the way
