Out for a drink with a member of her bridal party, Allison found herself at The Standard Biergarten in Chelsea, New York. Seated on a picnic bench, they watched intense ping-pong matches over a drink. After an hour, she was approached by a dashing Englishman who asked, "Would you mind if we squeezed in here?". Looking for a casual drink on a Sunday, Samuel and his mates headed to the Biergarten. Upon ordering a boot of beer, Samuel began looking for somewhere to sit. He noticed Allison immediately and told his mates, "I need to go talk to that blonde girl over there!". Two hours of casual conversation flew by, and as Samuel stood up to leave he said, "I'll never forgive myself if I don't ask for your number. Are you free for dinner this week?" ... and the rest is history!
