WE'RE GETTING MARRIED 2.0

We swiped right! A good ole fashioned 2020 love story. Christian was headed to Pensacola to begin Flight School and stopped over in Fort Myers to visit his parents for a few days. Olivia was helping her close friend move to Fort Myers on the exact same days. Long story short, we both swiped right, began talking, and quickly realized we might actually like each other! On a journey back to Illinois for Olivia, she stopped by Pensacola when her car broke down. One night stop over turned into the best week for us. We realized then that this was a relationship we wanted to explore.

New Years 2022 we decided to take a quick trip to see Nick, Sarah, and Fenway in Greenville, South Carolina. Olivia thought this was just going to be fun weekend getaway to visit some family, but Christian had a surprise up his sleeve. New Years night we were headed to eat and stopped at a brewery before our reservation. While Olivia had hopped up from the table to check out some new ciders on the brew wall, Christian told Nick and Sarah he planned to propose...They both quickly asked when and he said TONIGHT!!! Sarah started freaking out but held it together until the big moment. We left the brewery and headed down to take some photos before dinner. During the photos, Christian got done on one knee and asked Olivia if she would marry him!! In complete shock Olivia said "ARE YOU SERIOUS" and then quickly said YES!

On March 12, 2022, our parents, siblings, and grandparents (on FaceTime) joined us in a beautiful ceremony on Navarre Beach in Florida. Once we were engaged, we knew that we didn't want to wait to be married. We were just so excited to start our lives together. The whole day was even better than we had hoped and we felt so loved by all of our friends and family near and afar. Although we loved our intimate ceremony, we knew we wanted to celebrate with all of our friends and family in the future!
