THE VENUE
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the 4:30pm ceremony. This will give you enough time to park, mingle with friends, and make your way over to the ceremony area.

What is the venue like?

Answer

The venue for Alex and Samanthas wedding is Samanthas family home. The event will be held completely outdoors around the property and under a clear top tent.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue located in a grass field across the driveway from the ceremony and reception areas.

Is there transportation to the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be a shuttle coming to and from the hotels listed on the room block. Please see information under the shuttle FAQ. If you do decide to drive with a designated driver, or call an Uber, we ask that you understand the venue is located at the end of a small neighborhood. We kindly ask that you drive carefully, slowly, and respect the neighbors on your way in and out. We also ask that you have the Uber/lyft stop and turn around at the barn instead of continuing down the driveway.

Whats the attire? What shoes should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is highly encouraged. Recommended shoes for this outdoor event would be flats, block heels, or wedges. We want you to be comfortable walking in grass, so stiletto heels are highly discouraged.

What are the food options?

Answer

The food will be served buffet style, so bring your appetite!

What is the shuttle information and schedule?

Answer

Yes! A shuttle bus will be provided to and from both the Hampton and Baymont on the day of the wedding. Shuttle information prior to the wedding- The shuttle arrives at the Hampton Inn at 3:25pm and departs promptly at 3:40pm. The shuttle then travels from the Hampton to the Baymont to pickup the Baymont guests. The shuttle will leave the Baymont at 4pm. The shuttle will not be able to wait for any late arrivals. Post wedding, the first shuttle trip will be at 10:40pm and will take the guests back to the Baymont and Hampton Inn. The shuttle will then return to the venue to pick up guests that would like to be dropped off at Main Street, Stroudsburg.
