We're getting married !

Ashley and Ethan first crossed paths in the summer of 2018 as they were getting ready to head off to college. Ashley would be attending Toledo to become a full-time jock (swimmer), and Ethan a nerd at Michigan. It was a brief night filled with laughter and good times as long-time friends caught up. Ethan was the odd one out, acting as a plus one for the soon-to-be matchmaker, Ben Puglessi. Despite a great summer night out on the Thornapple River (and one of the last nights on the Brown Beauty) Ethan and Ashley went their separate ways. Once Freshman year had come to a close, the two headed back to their shared hometown, Grand Rapids, where Ben Puglessi gave it one more shot. This time the two connected and on June 3 they had their first official date. After sitting in the local MVP parking lot for 15 minutes with no idea where to go, the two took a drive to Ada Park where a men's softball game grabbed their attention. The two sat down and began chatting, which quickly turned into commentating the game. It was going well until Ashley turned to Ethan and pointing at the heavy-set third basemen wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day, said "his name is definitely Chad." Instantly, Ethan knew she was the one. What started off as a great friendship flourished into a loving relationship filled with laughter, jokes, and comfort. Fast forward five years and we will now commit to a lifetime of laughter together. Ben, thank you. We wouldn't be here without you!
