Question

What should I do to get used to the altitude?

Answer

Estes Park is at 7, 523 ft and Allenspark sits at 8,428 ft. If you are able, we recommend coming a few days early to get accustomed to the altitude in Denver before heading up to Estes Park. Denver sits at 5,280 ft and has plenty of activities and places to explore! Remember, it’s always good practice to drink lots of water and limit your alcohol intake. One drink at altitude = two at sea level.

Question

How early should I plan ahead?

Answer

Memorial day is notoriously busy in Estes Park as it usually marks the beginning of summer vacation, so book your accommodations as early as possible! Yes the wedding is not for a while, but Estes Park is a small town and places sell out quickly!
