Marty and Andy have been friends in life and in the rhythm section for almost 25 years now. Marty’s asks a lot of questions and oddly enough is Andy’s Personal Google Assistant. Prior to Nicole, Marty thought he was Andy’s forever plus one to any cool event Andy got an invite to (sorry Skels!). A co-founder of the SMG’s, Andy & Marty have a friendship that has, and continues, to blossom. Be on the lookout for one of the lengthiest, and most amazing, best man speech you’ve ever heard. TJ and I met thanks to our daughters, who were friends before we were. Fresh off my divorce and right in the middle of hers, we became each other’s sounding boards, therapists, and occasional drinking buddies. It didn’t take long for us to realize how similar we are—so much so that we’d show up in matching outfits without even planning it. Naturally, “Twinny” became our nickname for each other, and it stuck. She’s my soul sister, my partner in crime, and my fashion twin. I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side!

Jay and Andy go back to Salisbury University, but really grew close over the past 5 years. Jay and Andy share a similar sense of humor and always are laughing. He also once blocked Chatney Howard, you should ask him about it. Jay is a huge WNBA fan as well. Along with Marty & Andy, Jay is a co-founder of the SMGs and always is outchea. Shooooo!!!

Elizabeth and I met through a mutual friend when she was working her magic doing lashes. When she moved to a new salon, I followed her, and when she decided to open her own space, I was there every step of the way to cheer her on. She’s not just my go-to lash girl; she’s also my part-time therapist (and probably knows all my secrets by now). Since she’s a proud homebody, going to her salon became my only way to catch up with her—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s as talented as she is loyal, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side!

Jimmy and Andy’s friendship goes back to 7th grade. Jimmy never wanted to be like Mike, he wanted to be like Clyde. Known for his boyish good looks (which have started to fade in his later years) and his rosy red cheeks he once met Lawrence Taylor. Ask him about it.

Gracey is my amazing niece, but she’s really more like my bonus daughter. Over the years, as my brother and I navigated our divorces, she and my brother lived with me on and off, growing up alongside my kids. Gracey has been such a bright light in our family, and I’m so proud of the incredible young woman she’s becoming. She’s sweet, strong, and everything I could hope for in a niece and junior bridesmaid. I can’t wait to share this special day with her!

Big Sauc3 (pronounced Saucy) is Nicole’s son. You can usually catch him and Andy talking basketball & hip-hop. He might refer to Andy as “Unc” but knows he doesn’t want this smoke in a freestyle battle.

Krysta and I met while working at Lures, and one spontaneous girls’ trip later, we realized we were practically the same person. From that point on, we became fast friends and never looked back. Since then, we’ve traveled the world together, creating unforgettable memories, inside jokes, and probably more than a few travel mishaps and near death experiences along the way. She’s my adventure buddy, my partner in laughter, and one of the best friends I could ever ask for. Having her by my side on this day is just another adventure to add to the list!

Cole isn’t just a groomsman—he’s Andy’s stepson. A proud Marine and now a college student in Montana, he’s as sharp-witted as he is determined. Somewhere along the way, he even took it upon himself to teach Andy how to shoot a gun (because what are stepsons for, right?). Whether he’s making us laugh with his quick comebacks or making us proud with his accomplishments, he’s one of a kind. Having him here to celebrate means everything, and we couldn’t be prouder to have him standing by our side!

Breaking tradition, one of my bridesmaids is actually a man—because when you’ve been best friends since 2009, there’s no way he’s not part of the bridal party! We first met at our favorite watering hole, Krazy Otto’s (RIP), and while the bar is gone, our friendship is still going strong. Over the years, he’s been everything from my kids’ unofficial coach to my personal babysitter when my alter ego, Brandi, made an appearance. Naturally, he became “Diego,” and together we created the legendary adventures of Brandi and Diego. There’s no one else I’d want to laugh, cry, and celebrate with on this special day!

Natalie is my beautiful 22-year-old daughter and truly my best friend in the world. I mean, how many moms can say they still cuddle with their grown-up daughter who still calls them “Mommy”? Even though she’s away at college chasing her dream of becoming a nurse, our bond is as strong as ever. I miss her every day, but having her here for this special moment means the world to me. She’s smart, kind, and everything I could ever hope for in a daughter—and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.

Carlos & Andy met in their sophomore year of High School and pretty much became best friends immediately. Los is not only married to one of Andy’s other best friends, Jenny, he is also the father of Andy’s godson Keegan. Los has a fondness for making up stories and remembering things wildly different than how they happened, if they even happened at all. He answers to Los, Louis and Da Sky - try calling him all three at the wedding!

Christine has been a part of my life for over 15 years, and I’m so lucky to call her my sister. She married my brother, David, and from the start, she fit right into our family with her humor, energy, and caring self. Christine keeps my brother David grounded and brings so much joy and love to those around her. I was honored to be a bridesmaid for the first time in her wedding and I’m beyond grateful to have her by my side on this special day even if she refuses to watch STAR WARS.

Brian is Andy’s brother in law and one of Andy’s favorite people in the world. Brian is lucky enough to have been dating/married to Andy’s sister Lindsay for 15+ years. Marrying out of our league runs in the family! Andy didn’t have any brothers growing up and it’s safe to say that Brian has stepped into that role like a champ.
