Is there a dress code?

Welcome Party is Cocktail Attire. Ceremony & Reception are Black Tie. The reception will require walking on some grass, so please consider this in shoe selection.

WHAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE WEDDING AND RECEPTION?

Answer

All festivities will take place at The Minikahda Club. This includes the ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner and dancing. Minikahada Clubs address is 3205 Excelsior Blvd. Minneapolis, MN 55416.

DO I HAVE A PLUS ONE?

If your invitation is addressed to you and your significant other or "guest" – yes

Are children invited to attend the wedding or reception?

Answer

While we love your kids, we want you to have a worry-free night out! No children, please.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Minikahda Club has ample parking in their private lot. Cars can be left overnight. They will also have optional valet service for your convenience.

WILL SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION BE AVAILABLE FROM THE HOTELS TO THE MINIKAHDA CLUB?

Answer

There will a be a shuttle provided to the Welcome Party from the AC Marriot. Shuttles will be available from our hotel blocks on wedding day. We encourage you to take the shuttle and enjoy the ride. Shuttles will start returning to hotel blocks at 9PM and recurring every 30 minutes. Shuttles will depart the Minikahda Club starting a 9pm and again at 30 minute intervals for return trips to the hotels.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER IN MINNEAPOLIS?

Answer

The average temperature in September is 74 degrees F. Weather permitting, we will be outside under a tent. You might consider bringing a light shawl or sweater for the evening.

DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

Answer

Transportation will be available to and from the wedding and reception from the hotels we have recommended with room blocks. Uber/Lift/Taxi can provide additional transportation as needed. If you want to venture out in Minneapolis, you might consider a car rental.

CAN I BRING MY GIFT TO THE WEDDING?

Answer

Yes - there will be a gift table for your convenience.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5pm. Please arrive at your seat no later than 4:45pm while giving yourself enough time to park and walk to the clubhouse!
