Milan is the nearest major city with international flight connections. Milan is served by three main airports: Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) - the largest and most accessible for international flights. Milan Linate Airport (LIN) - closer to the city center, mainly for domestic and European flights. Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) - primarily used by low-cost airlines, suitable for those traveling within Europe before the wedding. We recommend exploring flights to all three airports, as they offer different options that might suit your travel plans, especially if you're touring Europe beforehand.

Upon arrival in Milan, you have several options to reach Lake Como, specifically Varenna and Bellagio, where we expect most of our guests to stay: Direct Transport via Car Service/Taxi: To Varenna: Cost: Approximately €100-€150. Time: About 1h 15m To Bellagio: Cost: Approximately €150-€200. Time: About 1h 30m For Guests Staying in Varenna: Train to Varenna: Cost: Around €10-€20. Time: Approximately 2 hour2. Details: Direct train from Milan Central Station to Varenna-Esino, offering a scenic route. Train to Como and Ferry to Varenna: Cost: Train around €5-€15, ferry approximately €10-€20. Time: Train to Como (30-60 minutes), ferry to Varenna (about 2 hours).
