We would've never thought we would be here....

16 years of friendship... in separate relationships, same circle of friends... years spent living together, all as roommates, and hanging out as a huge group of friends... A LOT of memories, both good and bad, and roughly 9 years of completely separate lives, complete separate directions! Out of complete left field and unexpected, Nick reached out to Theresa on Facebook. They talked very intermittently for the first week or two. Once conversation took off, that was it. They were catching up on life...

Once we started catching up, that was it... Just like that! Like a wild fire! I was full of feelings and emotions... I had never felt this way before. After a week of catching up, Nick and Leelyn met, AGAIN! (He knew him when he was a baby and little tyke) It was like Nick was the missing piece to mine and Leelyn's puzzle! For the first time, Even before getting engaged, I felt complete! Life sure has thrown its lemons at us these past couple months, and definitely a few rotten ones! But, we stood tall and got some delicious lemonade out of those lemons!!! I wouldn’t and couldn’t imagine anyone else, by my side, my partner in crime!
